A position on an Aajuu class SDB is one of the most sought after positions by cadets. State of the art with good accomodations,and a good balance of sensors, weapons, armor and acceleration these ships are considered prime assignments.
Forming the first (and last) line of defence for their homeworlds the Aajuu class is fitted with the best and latest heavy lasers, top of the range sensors, and huge 3G engines.
The combination of armor and sandcaster makes them immune to smaller lasers and able to stand sustained fire from larger lasers. Their combination of long range sensors, long range lasers, and radical stealth capabilities allows them to ambush many hostile craft. And of course no SDB would be complete without the tactically important missiles - able to destroy much larger targets with a single hit.
